Bijou Phillips was publicly spotted for the first time since undergoing a kidney transplant<\/a> she desperately needed.<\/p>\n

The actress was out with her boyfriend, Jamie Mazur, in Malibu, California, on Sunday. In pics obtained by Page Six, she wore a blue tank top, long denim shorts and a large sun hat to combat the extreme heat over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Phillips, 46, enjoyed a bottled beverage as she sat outside with Mazur, 56, who wore camouflage shorts and a white T-shirt with a yellow smiley face on it. The \u201cAlmost Famous\u201d star and the fashion businessman have been dating since 2024.<\/p>\n

Phillips revealed on July 7 that she underwent a life-saving kidney transplant at UCLA amid her battle with kidney disease. She posted a picture of herself at the hospital, praising her surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Veale.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe only cut the facia! He didn\u2019t cut the muscles so I didn\u2019t even really need much pain medication at all, just Tylenol!,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI feel at five days out like I did four months after my last surgery!\u201d<\/p>\n

She also shared, \u201cI am beyond beyond grateful to everyone who rushed into help me, get checked to donate, you are all hero\u2019s!\u201d<\/p>\n

Phillips first received a first kidney transplant from a friend in 2017, but Page Six learned in February that the kidney had failed, and she needed another one.<\/p>\n

Her rep then confirmed to us that she was hospitalized at\u00a0CORE Kidney at UCLA Health<\/a> and receiving dialysis while waiting for another donor, noting that \u201ctime was of the essence.\u201d<\/p>\n

The socialite pleaded for help from her social media followers that month, sharing a photo of her and her daughter, Fianna, when she was born.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need help finding a kidney,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI\u2019m asking as a friend, a sister, an aunt, and most importantly, as a single mother to an incredible and brave daughter. I am in need of a kidney.\u201d<\/p>\n

She shared that she had been born with underdeveloped kidneys, and that while her first kidney transplant gave her \u201c8 precious years to be a mother to my daughter,\u201d she\u2019d since experienced \u201cmany complications.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease help me find a living donor so that I can have more time with my daughter, family, and friends,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Phillips and her ex-husband, Danny Masterson, welcomed Fianna \u2014 now 12 \u2014 in February 2014. She filed for divorce from Masterson,<\/a> 50, in September 2023 after he\u00a0was sentenced to 30 years to life<\/a>\u00a0in prison for two counts of rape.<\/p>\n
