\n\tThe staff at Sacred Heart Hospital is undergoing a few changes.<\/p>\n
\n\tABC<\/a>\u2018s Scrubs<\/a> has promoted Ava Bunn, who plays intern Sam Tosh, to a series regular for the revival\u2019s second season. She\u2019ll join original series stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison as a regular in the coming season, which is set to premiere in the fall. <\/p>\n \n\tTwo season one castmembers are not returning, however: Sources say Joel Kim Booster and X Mayo, who had recurring roles as Dr. Kevin Park and Nurse Raymond, will not be back. <\/p>\n \n\tThe rest of the show\u2019s intern class \u2014\u00a0Jacob Dudman (Asher Green), David Gridley (Blake Lewis), Layla Mohammadi (Amara Hadi) and Amanda Morrow (Dashana Trainor) \u2014 will return in recurring roles, as will Michael James Scott as Nurse Dubois, Vanessa Bayer as hospital HR rep Sibby, and Rachel Bilson as Charlie, a potential love interest<\/a> for Braff\u2019s J.D. Original series actors Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley, Neil Flynn and Robert Maschio\u00a0will also recur, and Christa Miller will guest star.<\/p>\n \n\tSeason two of Scrubs will continue to follow J.D., Elliot (Chalke) and Turk (Faison) as they work to lead and train the next generation of doctors while navigating the ups and downs of their jobs. The show\u2019s first season performed solidly for ABC, averaging 8.5 million cross-platform viewers over five weeks of viewing.<\/p>\n \n\tAseem Batra is the showrunner for Scrubs.
