Two crime scenes have been established in Perth’s south-east after a body was discovered and a teenage girl was found injured in a neighbouring suburb.<\/p>\n

Police say they were called to an address in Bentley at 6:25am and found a person dead.<\/p>\n

An injured person was then taken to hospital after being found nearby in Cannington.<\/p>\n

St John’s confirmed a girl under the age of 15 was taken by ambulance to Perth Children’s Hospital.<\/p>\n

Police established a crime scene at the intersection of Manning Road and Mallard Way in Cannington on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after a teenage girl was found injured. A person was also found dead in Bentley.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police said another person had been taken into custody.<\/p>\n

“This is a contained incident and there are no ongoing concerns for public safety,” a police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Traffic in the area is at a standstill, with Albany Highway closed north of the Westfield Carousel shopping centre.<\/p>\n

The crime scene sits in a largely commercial area of the suburb, with businesses lining either side of the street.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Workers from nearby stores told the ABC they had spoken with authorities, with police attending businesses in search of CCTV footage of the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n
