Kennedy, Jr. \u00a0attended the National Governors Association (NGA) Summer Meeting in Colorado Springs, joining governors for a fireside chat about Make America Healthy Again priorities. Governors engaged in a wide-ranging discussion with Secretary Kennedy on HHS priorities, federal-state partnership, nutrition, preventive care, rural health care and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are opportunities for all of us to live up to our obligation to our children and really give them a chance in life, and change not only their physical health, but also their mental health,\u201d said Secretary Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, members of NGA\u2019s Public Health and Disaster Response Task Force sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nga.org\/advocacy-communications\/letters-nga\/public-health-and-disaster-response-task-force-outlines-priorities-for-fy-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">letter <\/a>to congressional leadership outlining bipartisan priorities for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) appropriations bills.<\/p>\n<p>Full video of the conversation will be available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nga.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NGA\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Colorado Springs\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
