{"id":948919,"date":"2026-07-21T04:29:19","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T04:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/948919\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T04:29:19","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T04:29:19","slug":"lane-closures-planned-for-southbound-i-5-in-san-diego-near-sr-56-overnight-nbc-7-san-diego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/948919\/","title":{"rendered":"Lane closures planned for southbound I-5 in San Diego near SR-56 overnight \u2013 NBC 7 San Diego"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Motorists planning to drive where Interstates 5 and 805 meet with State Route 56 in San Diego Monday night into Tuesday morning, be aware of a slew of lane closures which may affect you.<\/p>\n<p>From 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/quickmap.dot.ca.gov\/?view=32.9167%2C-117.2021%2C13&amp;layers=full_closures%2Clane_closures%2Cspeed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Caltrans<\/a> will close all but one lane of the southbound I-5 between the SR-56 and the I-805 split, plus the southbound I-5 bypass and the westbound\u00a0SR-56 connector to the southbound I-5.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/caltrans-asphalt-repair-map.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Caltrans will close all but one lane of the southbound I-5 between the SR-56 and the I-805 split, plus the southbound I-5 bypass and the westbound\u00a0SR-56 connector to the southbound I-5 overnight on July 20 to July 21, 2026.
