Cinespia knows that a milestone summer season requires a big finale. <\/p>\n
With dozens of events each year, Cinespia has become one of the most popular outdoor cinematic experiences. The L.A. based organization has hosted screenings in locations like The Greek Theatre and the Los Angeles Historic Park, but it is perhaps most synonymous with its lively takeovers of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. <\/p>\n
For the 2026 season, Cinespia has commemorated its 25th anniversary with screenings of cult favorites and classics including Edward Scissorhands, Rosemary\u2019s Baby and The Matrix.\u00a0<\/p>\n
To wrap up its celebratory run, Cinespia will close out the summer season with a can\u2019t-miss September lineup. Audiences are welcome to bring blankets, food and drinks.<\/p>\n

Taking place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the Labor Day weekend screenings include Josie and the Pussycats on Sept. 5 and The Sandlot on Sept. 12, followed by Goodfellas on Sept. 12. <\/p>\n

In addition to the films, each screening features live DJ performances, free photo booths, beer and wine bars and food stands, creating a festive atmosphere beyond the movie itself.<\/p>\n
