{"id":950731,"date":"2026-07-22T00:21:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T00:21:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/950731\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T00:21:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T00:21:15","slug":"public-meeting-to-be-held-at-partridge-run-golf-and-country-club-over-course-condition-concerns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/950731\/","title":{"rendered":"Public meeting to be held at Partridge Run Golf and Country Club over course condition concerns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">CANTON, New York (WWNY) &#8211; Golfers and village officials are set to meet Tuesday night at Partridge Run Golf and Country Club to discuss concerns about conditions at the municipal course.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The meeting follows two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwnytv.com\/2026\/07\/15\/anonymous-letters-target-cantons-village-owned-golf-course\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wwnytv.com\/2026\/07\/15\/anonymous-letters-target-cantons-village-owned-golf-course\/\">anonymous letters<\/a> sent to village officials and a 7NEWS describing poor conditions at the course. Village officials plan to attend to hear from golfers directly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Canton Mayor Mike Dalton said he wants to address any problems and find a way for the course to break even. He said the village has lost approximately $1 million operating the course over the past decade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThe bottom line is that it\u2019s a good facility. We want to keep it going, and we would like it to be more revenue-neutral,\u201d Dalton said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Partridge Run Golf and Country Club.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WWNY.
