Matt Damon\u2019s biceps in \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d have been the talk of the town on social media,<\/a> but according to the actor, he can\u2019t take all the credit for his fit look. <\/p>\n

Appearing on the \u201cHappy Sad Confused<\/a>\u201d podcast on Monday, Damon, 55, revealed that a female stunt double stood in his place for one particular scene in Christopher Nolan\u2019s epic fantasy film \u2014 the scene \u201cwhen we did the forced perspective stuff of the Laestrygonians.\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Josh Horowitz praised Damon for having \u201cthe greatest bicep work\u201d he had ever seen \u201coutside of a [Chris] Hemsworth film.\u201d <\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Damon dropped his fun fact.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy double was a woman, a female stunt performer \u2014 who had the greatest arms I\u2019ve ever seen,\u201d he said, referring to stunt double Devyn Dalton. <\/p>\n

The Oscar winner, who stars as Odysseus, King of Ithaca, in the film, recalled the first time he met Dalton in a catering tent on the film\u2019s set. He told Horowitz he approached her and hugged her to thank her \u201cfor all the work she put in.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo there are those shots in the movie where you see these giants looming over me, and so it was almost 100% my arms in the movie, but you gotta give it up where it\u2019s due,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

HuffPost has reached out to Dalton for comment about Damon\u2019s remarks. <\/p>\n

Recently speaking with HuffPost Senior Producer Ellen Lee, Damon called the film \u201cthe most ambitious<\/a>\u201d movie he\u2019s ever been cast in. <\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I\u2019ve never worked that hard on a film \u2026 it felt more like an expedition than a movie,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
