Little Fire: Evacuation orders issued for fire burning near Pleasanton in Alameda County<\/p>\n

A vegetation fire burning near Pleasanton in Alameda County on Tuesday has prompted mandatory evacuations.<\/p>\n

The Little Fire sparked at 3:39 p.m. in the area of Vallecitos Road and Little Valley Road in Sunol, south of Pleasanton, Cal Fire said<\/a>. <\/p>\n

One firefighter has been hurt, according to Cal Fire. <\/p>\n

As of 10 p.m., it had burned more than 1,000 acres and containment was 10%. <\/p>\n

Areas under evacuation orders include neighborhoods in Pleasanton with homes. <\/p>\n

The Alameda County Office of Emergency Services said a temporary shelter was set up at the Pleasanton Senior Center. Other lodging resources are available through the Tri-Valley program<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Evacuation Orders will remain in effect throughout the evening for zones PLS-080, PLS-081, and PLS-103 due to the Little Fire in Sunol and City of Pleasanton.<\/p>\n

Evacuation Orders for Zones ALC-072, PLS-082, and PLS-079 have been lifted. Residents within these zones can return\u2026<\/p>\n
