(WECT) &#8211; Cape Fear Community College\u2019s Wilma W. Daniels Gallery and Cameron Art Museum (CAM) are inviting art lovers to attend their new exhibit, \u201cSense of Place\u201d, opening next month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The exhibit celebrates the artistic legacy of southeastern North Carolina and includes a curated selection of works from CAM\u2019s permanent collection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThis collaborative satellite exhibition invites visitors to explore the people, places, and perspectives that continue to define the cultural character of the Cape Fear region,\u201d said exhibit curator Ben Billingsley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cSense of Place\u201d will be open to the public from Aug. 11 through Oct. 9, with a public reception held on Aug. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wilma W.
