The film follows Misty, an \u201cundeniably talented actress, but her vices have derailed every attempt to revitalize her career. Her best opportunity in ages arrives in the form of Jordan (Rock), a film director with the perfect role for her \u2013 were it not for their contentious past.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film stars Rosalind Eleazar, Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick, and Topher Grace. Peter Rice and Rock produced alongside James Lopez for Macro Film Studios and Tommy Oliver for Confluential Films. Executive producers are Charles D. King for Macro Film Studios and Codie Elaine Oliver for Confluential Films.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tRock\u2019s last directorial effort was 2014\u2019s Top Five, a comedy about a New York City comedian and film star, Andre Allen (Rock), who tries to make it as a serious actor when his reality television star fianc\u00e9e talks him into broadcasting their wedding on her television show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tRock also wrote that feature, which also starred J. B. Smoove, Kevin Hart, Sherri Shepherd, Michael Che, Tracy Morgan, Jay Pharoah, Leslie Jones, Cedric the Entertainer, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, and Whoopi Goldberg. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBefore that, Rock directed I Think I Love My Wife (2007), a remake of \u00c9ric Rohmer\u2019s 1972 film Love in the Afternoon, and Head of State (2003).
