{"id":952604,"date":"2026-07-22T21:05:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T21:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/952604\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T21:05:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T21:05:15","slug":"blue-mambo-to-rebrand-relocate-to-bissonnet-in-elevated-beauty-partnership-with-hair-craft-collective-bellaire-meyerland-west-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/952604\/","title":{"rendered":"Blue Mambo to rebrand, relocate to Bissonnet in elevated beauty partnership with Hair Craft Collective | Bellaire &#8211; Meyerland &#8211; West University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blue Mambo, a salon with over three decades of hairstyling experience in Greater Houston, is relocating from its long-time storefront and rebranding as a three-in-one beauty and wellness establishment, officials confirmed via news release.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s happening?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reopening under the name Blue Mambo x Hair Craft, the acclaimed studio will be partnering with Hair Craft Collective\u2014a mother-daughter-led salon specializing in modern cuts and dimensional coloring for hair textures of all types\u2014to offer clients an enhanced line of services.<\/p>\n<p>This shared workspace of more than a dozen hairstylists will also include services from Urban Muse, a wellness practice dedicated to personal transformation, energy work and intuitive readings, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>Both Blue Mambo and Urban Muse are set to move into Hair Craft Collective\u2019s current salon location Aug. 1, which spans approximately 2,000 square feet along 2442 Bissonnet St., Houston, officials said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the owners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Per its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluemambostudio.com\/ourstory\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>, Blue Mambo has been recognized by Elle Magazine as one of the city\u2019s leading hair salons. It is co-owned and operated by Ronnie Anderson and Julie Deal. Anderson\u2019s wife, Jo Ann Anderson, founded and owns Urban Muse.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to Community Impact, Anderson said that he and his wife\u2019s businesses have worked alongside each other for the last 20 years, but this is the first time either of them has collaborated with Hair Craft Collective.<\/p>\n<p>Hair Craft Collective is co-owned by Marisa Ayala and her daughter, Jadyn Dominguez.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have always believed that great work comes from surrounding yourself with creative people who inspire you,\u201d Anderson said via news release. \u201cHair Craft Collective\u2019s young, talented team of artists will bring fresh energy, new perspectives and bold creativity to our community. Together, we can offer clients a more expansive beauty, wellness and creative experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Final takeaways<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While an official grand opening date has not been announced as of July 22, Anderson confirmed that Blue Mambo x Hair Craft\u2019s soft opening will be hosted Aug. 4.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Mambo\u2019s former location at 1911 W. Alabama St., Houston, will close effective immediately once relocation begins.
