{"id":95318,"date":"2025-07-26T23:43:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T23:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/95318\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T23:43:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T23:43:10","slug":"rural-mn-radio-stations-reeling-from-federal-funding-cuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/95318\/","title":{"rendered":"Rural MN radio stations reeling from federal funding cuts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"rt-Text\">CLITHERALL, MINN. \u2013 It\u2019s the nine o\u2019clock hour and on Niijii Radio, host Terry Goodsky is ready as ever to roast the cheese eaters east of Minnesota. <\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">What do you call 10 Packers fans lined up ear to ear? <\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">What\u2019s a Packers fan\u2019s favorite wine?<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">\u201cWe can\u2019t beat Minnesota!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">Known for his bad jokes, good music and Marilyn Monroe-inspired birthday warbles, Goodsky has become a fixture on the public radio station that broadcasts daily from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niijiiradio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.niijiiradio.com\/\">KKWE radio station<\/a> on the White Earth Reservation in northwestern Minnesota. <\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">For some 10 years, he\u2019s been on the air. His main goal is to make people laugh, but never in a mean way, and to keep the Ojibwe language alive by sprinkling his shows with Native words.
