{"id":95386,"date":"2025-07-27T00:23:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-27T00:23:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/95386\/"},"modified":"2025-07-27T00:23:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-27T00:23:10","slug":"2-people-rescued-off-camelback-mountain-due-to-heat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/95386\/","title":{"rendered":"2 people rescued off Camelback Mountain due to heat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\"><strong>PHOENIX<\/strong> &#8211; The Phoenix Fire Department rescued two people from Camelback Mountain on Saturday, July 26.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-bd34935e=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">Eight people from out of town were on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/echo+canyon+trail\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x872b0c94839316a5:0xa240a273c9a701ab?sa=X&amp;ved=1t:155783&amp;ictx=111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>Echo Canyon Trail<\/strong><\/a> when they started experiencing heat-related issues around 11 a.m. Six of the hikers were able to make their way down the trail, but two needed help from rescue crews.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">One hiker was rescued using a big-wheel stretcher, and the other was rescued by helicopter.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">Both were hospitalized in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-bd34935e=\"\">What they&#8217;re saying:<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">Neighbor Bruce Brown lives in the area and witnessed the rescue on the mountain he says he&#8217;s trekked many times.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">He shares a warning for hikers.<\/p>\n<p data-v-bd34935e=\"\">&#8220;There were two or three people lying down with ice packs on them. I think they were all newcomers. I think they were all not used to this.
