The chilling first ransom note<\/a> allegedly sent by Nancy Guthrie\u2019s kidnapper has been revealed in full for the first time.<\/p>\n

Journalist Briana Whitney read the message on Wednesday\u2019s episode of the \u201cCrime Junkie\u201d podcast<\/a>, nearly six months after the 84-year-old\u2019s disappearance from her Tucson, Arizona, home<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHello, Savannah. We have your mother, Nancy,\u201d the note began, according to the reporter.<\/p>\n

Journalist Briana Whitney shared the message on the \u201cCrime Junkie\u201d podcast Wednesday. Crime Junkie podcaast<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is safe but scared,\u201d Whitney went on to read. \u201cShe will be held for ransom and once payment is received, she will be released unharmed. We will be holding her for a maximum of seven days.\u201d<\/p>\n

She noted that the alleged abductor went on to demand millions of dollars<\/a> \u2014 specifying this should be sent in US currency \u2014 while outlining deadlines.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce payment is received to the Bitcoin address below, she will be released within 12 hours of deposit to a safe drop off location back in Tucson,\u201d Winters continued reading.<\/p>\n

She acknowledged that the FBI has yet to determine whether the note did indeed come from Nancy\u2019s kidnapper (pictured above on Feb. 1 security camera footage.) FBI<\/p>\n

However, the note continued, \u201cIf the payment is not received by the last deadline on Monday the 9th at 5 p.m., she will be killed. Your mother is aware of this and her life is in your hands.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is in the best interest of everyone to have this completed as soon as possible. You will not be able to contact me from here on out. There will be no negotiation. Do not play games. Law enforcement will not be able to help you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whitney, additionally, claimed that the note included details about Nancy\u2019s home<\/a> \u2014 from the \u201cwhite smart watch \u2026 on the floor near her bed, like, at the foot of the bed\u201d to the \u201cfloodlight \u2026 destroyed in the backyard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The alleged abductor went on to warn, \u201cDo not play games.\u201d FBI<\/p>\n

She clarified that the FBI is still investigating the legitimacy of the note.<\/p>\n

Savannah\u2019s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

An anonymous FBI insider, notably, insisted to Reuters earlier this month that \u201cnone of the ransom notes are believed to be genuine.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

A second law enforcement source doubled down on this claim, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

Air Mail alleged in June that another note, believed to be sent by the same person, had a \u201cnew, less confident tone\u201d and gave a \u201csputtering and labored\u201d apology for Nancy\u2019s inadvertent death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As headlines swirled about the alleged messages last month, Savannah tearfully addressed the matter<\/a> on the \u201cToday\u201d show.<\/p>\n

While \u201cnot involved in \u2026 coverage\u201d of her mother\u2019s disappearance<\/a> the morning of Feb. 1, the journalist took \u201cthe opportunity to really ask people and really beg people to come forward<\/a> because somebody knows something.\u201d<\/p>\n
