{"id":954928,"date":"2026-07-23T22:29:21","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T22:29:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/954928\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T22:29:21","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T22:29:21","slug":"qld-police-arrest-man-over-ai-generated-posters-targeting-multiple-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/954928\/","title":{"rendered":"Qld police arrest man over AI-generated posters targeting multiple women"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Police have charged a 52-year-old man after an investigation into a series of AI-generated posters targeting multiple women across south-east Queensland over five years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">An investigation was launched after police were notified of posters displayed at various locations, including a public venue in Gatton in May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">The posters allegedly featured victims&#8217; faces superimposed on the bodies of women performing explicit sexual acts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Victims&#8217; full names, social media usernames and employment details were also allegedly included, alongside false claims identifying them as sex workers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">On Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at a Cleveland address and seized electronic devices, printers and pre-prepared AI-generated posters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Police also allegedly located and seized an electronic control weapon, three long firearms and 25 rounds of ammunition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">The 52-year-old Cleveland man has been charged with 43 offences, including 27 counts of distributing intimate images and six counts of unlawful stalking.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Police bodycam showing guns and tasers on a bed\" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1df43279e9c25b5dc7f17f1ab0d4379c.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Police also seized weapons.
