href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcphiladelphia.com\/tag\/philadelphia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Philadelphia<\/a> region on Saturday night, <a href=\"https:\/\/gispub.epa.gov\/airnow\/?contours=ozonepm&amp;monitors=none&amp;xmin=-8918137.401116168&amp;xmax=-7866363.891912649&amp;ymin=4679336.994116711&amp;ymax=5026972.598757525\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to AirNow.gov.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Air quality in Philadelphia, as of 8:40 p.m., was as high as a PM 2.5 level of 158, which is considered Code Red.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/aq2.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\"Map of current air quality, with red a Code Orange.<\/p>\n<p>The unhealthy levels went from the southern portion of Long Beach Island to Sea Isle City, and going as far inland as Egg Harbor. <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" unhealthy for sensitive groups. <\/p>\n<p>During a Code Red, everyone is urged to limit strenuous outdoor activity and shorten the amount of time outside. <\/p>\n<p>People with heart and lung disease, as well as older adults, pregnant women and young children are also urged to avoid strenuous activity outside and keep time outside short.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the rest of the Philadelphia region is under a Code Orange Air Quality Alert, which means the above mentioned groups should be careful when going outside, or avoid it all together. <\/p>\n<p>The poor air quality is a result of wildfires in
