{"id":955988,"date":"2026-07-24T10:40:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-24T10:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/955988\/"},"modified":"2026-07-24T10:40:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-24T10:40:08","slug":"keller-isd-northwest-isd-open-enrollment-for-free-or-reduced-school-meals-keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/955988\/","title":{"rendered":"Keller ISD, Northwest ISD open enrollment for free or reduced school meals | Keller &#8211; Roanoke &#8211; Northeast Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kellerisd.net\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Keller ISD<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nisdtx.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Northwest ISD<\/a> opened enrollment for qualifying families to apply for free or reduced-price school meals, according to releases from both districts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Both school districts offer healthy breakfast and lunch meals and for families that qualify for free or reduced meals.<\/p>\n<p>The criteria for free and reduced-price meal options are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Household income at or below the eligibility level<\/li>\n<li>Household uses Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)<\/li>\n<li>A student is a foster child, homeless, runaway, migrant or is displaced by a declared disaster<\/li>\n<li>A student is enrolled in Head Start or Even Start, which are federal education initiatives designed to assist low-income families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Parents or guardians who believe they qualify for free or reduced school meals can apply online within their respective school district. An application must be submitted every school year, even if a student was on the plan the previous school year.<\/p>\n<p>Keller ISD\u2019s application landing page is listed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kellerisd.net\/departments\/foodservices\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> and includes pricing, policies and a list of questions and answers.
