SAN DIEGO (KGTV) \u2014 A man and woman were found dead Saturday morning in what police believe was a domestic violence shooting in the Oak Park neighborhood, according to San Diego Police Department. <\/p>\n
San Diego police responded to a report of gunfire around 9:47 a.m. at 5516 Timothy Drive. Officers arrived to find a woman in her 50s with a gunshot wound to her upper torso. While officers rendered aid, another team discovered a man, also in his 50s, dead in a separate room from an apparent gunshot wound to the head, police said.<\/p>\n
Paramedics with San Diego Fire-Rescue continued life-saving efforts on the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the victims have not yet been released. <\/p>\n
Homicide detectives are investigating the case and believe the shooting was a domestic violence incident that ended in a murder-suicide. San Diego Police Department said there is no ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n
