The more experimental record marks a progression in Gordon\u2019s music, blending electronic beats with hip-hop and trap sensibilities, making for a more melodic record that her previous works.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A punk trailblazer, Gordon spent three decades with Sonic Youth before the group disbanded in 2011 following her divorce from bandmate Thurston Moore.
