Most notably, Morgan now stars in the NBC comedy \u201cThe Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.\u201d That show debuted on NBC in January 2026 and was <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-id=\"1236736809\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/the-fall-and-rise-of-reggie-dinkins-renewed-season-2-nbc-1236736809\/\">renewed for a second season in May<\/a>. In addition, cast options expired some time ago with many moving on to other projects. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWith the cancellation, Paramount+ just one live-action comedy on its current slate, with that being the Australian import \u201cColin from Accounts.\u201d The streamer is instead focused on its dramas like Taylor Sheridan\u2019s \u201cLandman\u201d and \u201cYellowstone\u201d spinoff \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d as well as the British crime drama \u201cMobLand\u201d among others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cCrutch\u201d follows its titular character Francois \u201cFrank\u201d Crutchfield (Morgan), who goes by \u201cCrutch,\u201d who is described as \u201ca brash, yet beloved Harlem shop owner who finds his world turned upside down when his highbrow son and free-spirited daughter move back into the Crutchfield family home.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe series was set in the world of \u201cThe Neighborhood,\u201d one of CBS\u2019 original comedy series, with Morgan appearing in a crossover episode of that show the same day that \u201cCrutch\u201d debuted on Paramount+. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAdditional cast members for \u201cCrutch\u201d included Jermaine Fowler, Kecia Lewis, Adrianna Mitchell, Adrian Martinez, Braxton Paul, and Finn Maloney. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cCrutch\u201d hailed from Cedric The Entertainer and his production company, A Bird and a Bear Entertainment. The series is executive produced by Cedric The Entertainer and Eric C. Rhone and created by Owen Smith who served as executive producer and showrunner. Executive producers for \u201cCrutch\u201d included Aaron Kaplan for Kapital Entertainment, Wendi Trilling for TrillTV, Mike Mariano and, Morgan.
