Roanoke &#8211; Northeast Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Contracts between the city of Roanoke, the Denton County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the town of Trophy Club were approved at Roanoke&#8217;s July 14 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roanoketexas.gov\/121\/Agendas-Minutes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">meeting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, an easement was approved with the Trinity River Authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Radio communication contract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roanoke officials approved a consolidated radio communication contract for use of the police and fire emergency radio systems that are operated and maintained by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dentoncounty.gov\/707\/Sheriff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Denton County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The contract is for $11,952 and will cover 76 radios for the Roanoke Police Department and 90 radios for the Roanoke Fire Department, according to city documents.<\/p>\n<p>The contract begins Oct. 1 and runs through Sept. 30, 2027.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interlocal agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roanoke and town of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trophyclub.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Trophy Club<\/a> will begin a shared emergency management coordinator service starting Oct. 1.<\/p>\n<p>Roanoke will provide qualified emergency management coordination services to both jurisdictions, including emergency operations planning, training, exercises, hazard assessments, grant support, interagency coordination and emergency response support, according to city documents.<\/p>\n<p>The total cost of the service is $170,302.68, with Trophy Club paying $34,061, or 20%, according to city documents.<\/p>\n<p>For fiscal year 2027-28, the cost will rise 4%, and Trophy Club will pay 30% of the costs, or $53,134.44.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for fiscal year 2028-29 will be reviewed annually and future costs will be adjusted to reflect actual costs, according to city documents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Easement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trinityra.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Trinity River Authority of Texas<\/a> will acquire a 0.02-acre meter station easement, a 0.28-acre permanent sanitary sewer easement and a 0.51-acre temporary construction easement for $16,507.<\/p>\n<p>The property where the easements will be is located in the Fairway Ranch addition, near Fairway Drive and Litsey Road.<\/p>\n<p>According to city documents, the Trinity River Authority is replacing five metering stations for the Denton Creek Regional Wastewater System collection system to address structural condition concerns and outdated meter technology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Contracts between the city of Roanoke, the Denton County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the town of Trophy Club were&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":957864,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","_share_on_mastodon":"0"},"categories":[5138],"tags":[5229,5310,385326,7371,7372,40113,358,385327,3187,67,586,132,5230,68,2969],"class_list":["post-957863","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-fort-worth","tag-america","tag-city-council","tag-denton-county-sheriff039s-office","tag-fort-worth","tag-fortworth","tag-roanoke","tag-texas","tag-town-of-trophy-club","tag-tx","tag-united-states","tag-united-states-of-america","tag-unitedstates","tag-unitedstatesofamerica","tag-us","tag-usa"],"share_on_mastodon":{"url":"https:\/\/pubeurope.com\/@us\/116979381412790186","error":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/957863","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=957863"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/957863\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/957864"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=957863"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=957863"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=957863"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
