JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Two people are dead and two people are injured in a shooting after what the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office called a domestic dispute involving a couple.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened Thursday morning at 1:49 am at McQuade Street and McDuff Avenue on Jacksonville\u2019s Westside. <\/p>\n

Of the four people shot, two are dead, including the shooter. The other two are in the hospital. Everyone involved was in their 20s.<\/p>\n JSO said the couple was living in a PadSplit<\/b><\/a> house and got into an argument. <\/p>\n Police say the boyfriend pulled out a gun and 3 roommates, two men and one woman, ended up shot. JSO said one of the male roommates died. <\/p>\n JSO said it appears one of the roommates tried to diffuse the situation when the boyfriend fired that gun.<\/p>\n The girlfriend involved in the argument is the only person who walked away uninjured.<\/p>\n As for the shooter, he was found dead of an apparent suicide by gun by police at West Beaver and Edward streets a short distance away.<\/p>\n JSO: <\/b>Two dead, two wounded in shooting after domestic incident at Jacksonville rooming house<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Devonte Cook rents a room in that house. He heard the gunshots coming back from a store run.<\/p>\n We caught his reaction on camera when he learned the exact details of what happened.<\/p>\n \u201cDamn! Excuse me,\u201d Cook said. \u201cI heard about four or five shots and then when I got here, the police were pulling up.\u201d<\/p>\n Mark Amos also rents a room on that property and was awoken by the shots.<\/p>\n [DOWNLOAD: <\/b>Free Action News Jax app for alerts as news breaks<\/b><\/a>]<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cPop, pop, pop, pop, pop, 5 pops,\u201d Amos said, describing the bullets. <\/p>\n \u201cDems is good people in there. All of us know each other, we\u2019ve been there since December. The new people, we don\u2019t know. They just got here,\u201d Cook said. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t like this type of stuff right here that\u2019s like bringing negative energy.
