{"id":960667,"date":"2026-07-26T16:03:21","date_gmt":"2026-07-26T16:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/960667\/"},"modified":"2026-07-26T16:03:21","modified_gmt":"2026-07-26T16:03:21","slug":"la-indie-book-crawl-concludes-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/960667\/","title":{"rendered":"LA Indie Book Crawl Concludes Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The inaugural Los Angeles Indie Book Crawl wraps up Sunday, giving local readers one last chance to visit independent bookstores across the region while celebrating books \u2026 and the retailers who sell them.<\/p>\n<p>The free three-day event, which began Friday, encourages participants to visit participating bookstores, make a purchase of at least $10 at each location and collect passport stamps to qualify for prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Readers who collect stamps from all 13 participating bookstores will receive a commemorative goodie bag and be entered into a drawing for $25 gift cards to each bookstore, valued at a combined $325, according to organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Participating bookstores in the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys are Annabelle\u2019s Book Club LA in Studio City, Once Upon A Time in Montrose and Vroman\u2019s Bookstore in Pasadena.<\/p>\n<p>Participating Los Angeles bookstores are Book Soup in West Hollywood, Chevalier\u2019s Books in Larchmont Village and Skylight Books in Los Feliz.<\/p>\n<p>Participating bookstores on the Westside and in the South Bay are Diesel, A Bookstore in Santa Monica, Children\u2019s Book World in West Los Angeles, The Ripped Bodice, Village Well Books &amp; Coffee and Malik Books in Culver City, The Book Jewel in Westchester and pages: a bookstore in Manhattan Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Authors scheduled to appear during the weekend include Taylor Jenkins Reid, Gabrielle Zevin, Marie Lu, Suzanne and Max Lang, Liz Kerin, Sarah Langan, Rebekah Faubion, Carlyn Greenwald and Justine Pucella Winans.
