Former Houston Cougars guard Milos Uzan<\/a><\/strong> is excited to have a chance to potentially make the Celtics<\/strong>\u2018 regular season roster, writes Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe<\/a> (subscriber link). Uzan, who went undrafted in June, signed<\/a> an Exhibit 10 contract with Boston a couple weeks ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a great opportunity,\u201d Uzan said. \u201cI feel like I\u2019m a pretty good point guard and that\u2019s what [the Celtics] needed, especially on the summer league team as well. I feel like I got a good shot and a good opportunity, and I\u2019m just trying to make the most of it. [I want to show] I can guard, I can run a team, and I can make open shots, and when it\u2019s time to make a big play down the stretch, I can do that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

An Exhibit 10 deal is a non-guaranteed, minimum-salary contract that can be converted into a two-way deal before the regular season begins. If a player on an Exhibit 10 contract is waived and then spends at least 60 days with his team\u2019s G League affiliate, he\u2019s eligible to earn a bonus worth up to $91K.<\/p>\n
