Each donated backpack will be fully packed with classroom essentials \u2014 from #2 pencils and notebooks to glue sticks \u2014 all hand-assembled by dealership employees, organizers said.<\/p>\n
\u201c(It\u2019s about) allowing students to focus on learning and (helping) parents breathe a little easier,\u201d Paul said. <\/p>\n
The supplies will be distributed at three community events this summer:<\/p>\n
Friday, July 25 <\/b><\/p>\n
10 a.m. \u2013 2 p.m. | YES Prep, 507 Crenshaw Rd., Houston 500 students will receive supplies<\/p>\n
Friday, August 1 <\/b><\/p>\n
4 \u2013 7 p.m. | Ignite Community School, 6651 Hawes Rd., Humble 250 students will receive supplies <\/p>\n
Saturday, August 9<\/b><\/p>\n
8 a.m. \u2013 12 p.m. | Baytown Community Center, 2407 Market St., Baytown 400 students will receive supplies <\/p>\n
