Police tell us the motorcyclist was traveling south on I-10 at a high rate of speed when the 18-wheeler attempted to switch lanes. The truck driver never saw the motorcycle and hit the rider. The rider fell from his bike and was run over by the 18-wheeler. Police say other vehicles may have also run over the rider.<\/p>\n<p>The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.<\/p>\n<p>The truck driver and other drivers stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
