Two brothers made a rare catch in Falmouth, Massachusetts, reeling in a tiger shark.<\/p>\n

Nate and Nelson Rouette caught the shark last week on a Cape Cod beach.<\/p>\n

“I saw those horizontal lines that indicate that it’s a tiger shark,” Nate Rouette told NBC10 Boston Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“It’s not our first time catching a tiger shark. It’s definitely our first time in Cape Cod,” Nelson Rouette explained.<\/p>\n

Tiger sharks are typically found in warmer waters than Cape Cod.<\/p>\n

“We’re starting to see them more consistently, but not that common,” said John Chisolm of the New England Aquarium.<\/p>\n

“Here’s a warm-water, southern species being caught on Cape Cod beaches, which is A. really cool, B. little scary,” Nate Rouette said.<\/p>\n

Chisolm said we’re seeing more tiger sharks off the New England coast because the water is warming up and they are following the food.<\/p>\n
