Tarrant County spots will support Lena Pope, a nonprofit that provides behavioral and mental health services to families and children in need.<\/p>\n<p>This is the culinary event\u2019s 30th year, according to the Restaurant Week website, with restaurants providing brunch, lunch and dinner specials Aug. 10-Sept. 7. Foodies can also get a taste of what\u2019s on offer during Preview Weekend Aug. 6-9.<\/p>\n<p>Participating restaurants offer at least one of the following specials:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two-course weekend brunch for $29<\/li>\n<li>Two-course lunch for $29<\/li>\n<li>Three-course dinner for $49 or $59<\/li>\n<li>Signature Experience dinners for $99 feature an \u201cexclusive VIP experience\u201d crafted by each restaurant. Features may include signature cocktails, chef\u2019s table or additional courses crafted for an especially memorable meal, according to the website.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here\u2019s a look at just a few of the Fort Worth spots where foodies can grab a bite and benefit charity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dinner and cocktails at La Cabrona<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Cabrona will offer lunch and two $59 three-course dinner options Aug. 6-Sept. 7.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their <a href=\"https:\/\/dfwrestaurantweek.com\/restaurant\/la-cabrona\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">menu<\/a> shows the first dinner option kicking off with guacamole and pico de gallo followed by rib-eye tacos with tu\u00e9tano bone marrow.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A signature cocktail is listed as the third course, with diners choosing between two tequila-centered beverages: la Sandia and el Borracho. The former combines La Pulga blanco with watermelon, jalapeno, lime, agave, cointreau and a tajin rim, while el Borracho brings together La Pulga anejo, lime, agave and Grand Marnier with a salt rim.<\/p>\n<p>Those looking to forgo spirits can substitute the cocktail with a cup of tortilla soup and a choice of traditional or coffee flan for dessert.<\/p>\n<p>Queso blanco or guacamole are among the appetizers, as is a house margarita served frozen or on the rocks with La Pulga blanco. It\u2019s diner\u2019s choice again for the entree, with enmoladas de pollo, quesabirria, and two iterations of Tacos de Cabron \u2013\u2013 chopped steak or shrimp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2933 Crockett St., Fort Worth; 682-224-2560<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lunch and Signature options at Emilia\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emilia\u2019s, the Italian-inspired restaurant housed within The Crescent Fort Worth hotel, is offering lunch and Signature Experience options Aug. 6-30.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, lunch starts with a Parma chopped salad with grilled chicken, lettuce, Castelfranco, mozzarella, fontina, cherry tomatoes, salami and Parma ham. Guests then choose the entree, either rigatoni with short rib and pancetta ragu or creste di gallo pasta with rock shrimp, tomato and fra diavolo sauce.<\/p>\n<p>The Signature Experience menu is a three-course meal complete with appetizer, a main and a cheesecake dessert. Diners\u2019 choices of appetizer are meatballs with Parmesan, pomodoro sauce and sourdough or hummus with veggies, espelette and pita.<\/p>\n<p>There are three surf and turf entrees to choose from: an Amish half chicken, Chilean seabass and 8-ounce wagyu beef tenderloin. Both the seabass and beef dishes are served with braised artichoke, baby turnips, toasted fregola pasta and charred green onion salsa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reservations can be made on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opentable.com\/r\/emilias-reservations-fort-worth?restref=1315969&amp;lang=en-US&amp;ot_source=Restaurant%20website\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Open Table<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>3300 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth; 817-661-1855<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sticky toffee pudding at The Chumley House<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This English-inspired restaurant near University Drive will offer a $59 three-course dinner Aug. 10-23.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Chumley House gives guests three options for each course, starting with kale and apple salad, smoked king salmon or prime beef tartare.
