{"id":969524,"date":"2026-07-30T17:57:23","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T17:57:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/969524\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T17:57:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T17:57:23","slug":"city-launches-tool-to-track-affordable-housing-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/969524\/","title":{"rendered":"City launches tool to track affordable housing projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New York City on Thursday unveiled a new interactive tool that allows residents to track the city\u2019s pipeline of affordable housing projects planned for publicly owned land.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/storymaps.arcgis.com\/stories\/afce9e93d79847608fc846878e17db8e?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_name=&amp;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Land Inventory Fast Track, or LIFT, Tracker<\/a> highlights over 100 city-owned sites across the five boroughs where the Mamdani administration says more than 50,000 new homes will be built.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Zohran Mamdani said the map is intended to give New Yorkers a way to monitor the city\u2019s progress on the projects while increasing transparency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToo many New Yorkers are being priced out of their homes.
