{"id":970321,"date":"2026-07-31T02:15:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T02:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/970321\/"},"modified":"2026-07-31T02:15:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T02:15:16","slug":"parole-denied-for-man-who-killed-toronto-police-officer-in-1994","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/970321\/","title":{"rendered":"Parole denied for man who killed Toronto police officer in 1994"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">TORONTO \u2014 A man who killed a Toronto police officer more than three decades ago has again been denied parole.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Toronto Police Association says it\u2019s pleased that Clinton Gayle was rejected in his bid for day parole, his fourth attempt at release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to the Toronto police website, C<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">onst. Todd Baylis and his partner were chasing down a drug trafficking suspect in June 1994 when the suspect fired at Baylis, hitting the 25-year-old in the head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The union says Const.
