Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The last new case of the pneumonia-like sickness was reported on July 17, but around half a dozen remained hospitalized as of earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/25\/us-news\/city-museums-failed-to-warn-customers-about-legionnaires-contamination\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The details<\/a> of the latest death were not immediately known.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the latest on the NYC Legionnaires\u2019 disease outbreak that has rattled the Upper East Side:<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Health did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
