A Silver Alert was activated Saturday on behalf of an 85-year-old man last seen in South Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
Clarence Gilbert was last seen about 12:30 a.m. in the area of West 74th and Main streets, according to the California Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.<\/p>\n
Gilbert, who was believed to be on foot, was described as a 5-foot, 9-inch tall Black man weighing 195 pounds with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a plaid button-up shirt, blue jeans and black boots.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was urged to call 911.<\/p>\n
