President Trump demanded that former Vice President Kamala Harris be prosecuted along with Beyonc\u00e9, Oprah Winfrey and Al Sharpton \u2014 for fees that were paid to the stars during the 2024 election.<\/p>\n
Trump claimed that the stars were paid millions of dollars by Harris\u2019 campaign for appearances \u2014 and that the money amounted to illegal payments to endorse Harris\u2019 failed presidential bid.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election,\u201d Trump began on\u00a0Truth Social<\/a>\u00a0Saturday. \u201cThese ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump alleged that high-profile figures were paid to endorse Kamala Harris during her failed presidential bid. All hell would break out.\u201d<\/p>\n During the 2024 cycle, Harris\u2019 campaign drew criticism over\u00a0$165,000 payments<\/a>\u00a0from Beyonce\u2019s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, for an Oct. 26 Houston rally.<\/p>\n Winfrey\u2019s production company, Harpo Productions,\u00a0was paid $1 million<\/a>\u00a0for a live stream event she helped organize in Michigan. It was not immediately clear where they came from.<\/p>\n All three celebs have backed Democratic candidates in the past.<\/p>\n \u201cEleven Million Dollars to singer Beyonc\u00e9 for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!), Three Million Dollars for \u2018expenses,\u2019 to Oprah, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV \u2018anchor,\u2019 Al Sharpton (a total lightweight!), and others.\u201d<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9 didn\u2019t perform at a rally for Kamala Harris, instead speaking at a podium. Thank you for your attention to this matter.\u201d<\/p>\n The Post has reached out to Harris for comment.<\/p>\n Trump has peddled similar claims in the past. Last December, he alleged the Harris campaign paid the three for an endorsement, but cited slightly different figures. That time, he claimed Democrats sent \u201c$11,000,000, $2,000,000, and $500,000 to get the ENDORSEMENT of Beyonc\u00e9, Oprah, and Reverend Al.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBeyonc\u00e9 didn\u2019t sing, Oprah didn\u2019t do much of anything (she called it \u2018expenses\u2019), and Al is just a third rate Con Man,\u201d he groused at the time.<\/p>\n Most of the singers and artists who endorsed Harris declined to perform at her campaign rallies last year,\u00a0opting to just stump for her in traditional\u00a0fashion instead.\u00a0<\/p>\n In May, Trump\u00a0revisited the accusations<\/a>\u00a0as well, publicly asking how much the Harris campaign paid Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Winfrey and Beyonce.<\/p>\n The Harris campaign previously addressed questions about the payments made to Beyonce\u2019s production company and\u00a0denied paying<\/a>\u00a0for an endorsement.\u00a0<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s mother denied the pop star was paid to endorse Kamala Harris. Julian Dakdouk via PictureGroup\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n Beyonce\u2019s mother has also\u00a0publicly denied reports<\/a>\u00a0that her daughter was paid up to $11 million to speak at the Harris rally.<\/p>\n Winfrey has also\u00a0previously insisted<\/a>\u00a0she \u201cwas not paid a dime\u201d to participate in the event with Harris, but instead had production fees covered by the campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n Harris\u2019 campaign amassed a mountain of political cash, including $1.15 billion in her campaign\u00a0coffers and $843 million in outside support,\u00a0according to Open Secrets<\/a>. <\/p>\n Trump, by contrast, had $464 million in his campaign and $989 million in outside money, per Open Secrets.\u00a0<\/p>\n Trump\u2019s Truth Social post comes during a four-day visit to the United Kingdom.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
