Michael Nigro for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD put the man in cuffs and checked on the apartment he tried to get into, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, they made a grisly discovery: blood splattered in the bedroom and the bathroom \u2014\u00a0with the dead victim sitting up in his tub with multiple stab wounds to his head, face and chest.<\/p>\n<p>There was a knife and taser also lying in the slain man\u2019s lap, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, police recovered a knife on a bed and another in a sink, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Officers spotted a naked man using a fire extinguisher to obstruct surveillance cameras before trying to bust into an apartment, law-enforcement sources said.
