We could see some showers in the afternoon, mainly to the west. <\/p>\n<p>The main threat starts after dinner and continues through Monday. Rounds of thunderstorms will bring heavy rain and (most likely) flash flooding for the morning commute and into Monday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Severe-Threat-2-1.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>There is also a risk of severe level wind gusts (58+ mph) with these storms.<\/p>\n<p>We dry out nicely on Tuesday and then we turn increasingly hot and unsettled after that.
