Families gather at McDonough Museum of Art for the YoPas launch<\/p>\n

YOUNGSTOWN – The John J. McDonough Museum of Art received more than $12,000 in grant funds from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) Board.<\/p>\n

The museum received a $12,418 sustainability grant for fiscal year 2027. This funding comes from $23.2 million in grants approved by the OAC Board.<\/p>\n

The funding will support various programs at the museum, such as the Emerging Artist series, which aims to create opportunities for new and emerging visual and performance artists.<\/p>\n

The funding also supports collaboration with the community to create programs for them.<\/p>\n

The museum is getting ready to begin its 35th year as an institution and thanked the OAC and Governor Mike DeWIne for their coninued support.<\/p>\n
