\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>HBO<\/a>\u2018s Task<\/a> has added Tim Blake Nelson, Jharrel Jerome<\/a>, Br\u00edan F. O\u2019Byrne, Bethlehem Million, Kevin Dunn<\/a>, and Andrew Russel for its Season 2 cast.<\/p>\n

\n\tBased on an original idea by Brad Ingelsby,\u00a0Task\u00a0is set in the working-class suburbs outside of Philadelphia. An FBI agent heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of drug-house robberies led by an unsuspecting family man.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Season 2, Tom Brandis (Mark Ruffalo) takes the helm of a new task force, but the deeper the operation runs, the harder it is to tell who\u2019s the target.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe series also stars Mahershala Ali as Eddie Barnes, Julianne Nicholson as Lori Ross, Harry Melling as Brennan Boylan, Adam Nagaitis as Luke Clemmons, Aminah Nieves as Nataly Zamora, Edgar Ram\u00edrez as Miguel Contreras, Martha Plimpton as Kathleen McGinty, and Silvia Dionicio as Emily Brandis.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new cast and who they will play can be found below.<\/p>\n

\n\tNelson<\/strong> will play Denny Coughlin, a career cop who plays by his own rules, recruited to be part of Tom Brandis\u2019 Task Force.<\/p>\n

\n\tJerome <\/strong>as Jordan Barnes, Eddie Barnes\u2019 son.<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Byrne<\/strong> as Charlie Boylan, a retired DEA Agent and mentor to Eddie Barnes.<\/p>\n

\n\tMillion<\/strong> as Lisa Barnes, Eddie Barnes\u2019 daughter.<\/p>\n

\n\tDunn<\/strong> as Vince Runyan, a no-nonsense FBI Agent and Tom Brandis\u2019 boss.<\/p>\n

\n\tRussel<\/strong> reprises his role as Ethan Brandis, Tom Brandis\u2019 son.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrad Ingelsby is the creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer of Task. Additional executive producers include Paul Lee and Mark Roybal for wiip, Jeremiah Zagar, Ruffalo, and Ron Schmidt. Nicole Jordan-Webber and Karen Wacker co-executive produce. Casting is by Bialy Thomas & Associates.<\/p>\n
