The 30th annual DFW Restaurant Week includes more than 150 participants across Dallas-Fort Worth this year, giving patrons a chance enjoy specially priced multi-course features that give back to a good cause. Keep the summer fun going strong with a margarita festival and a &#8220;mamacita&#8221; brunch featuring mimosa towers and dance lessons. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, August 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1391770716233726\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">French Wine Tasting at Salute Wine Bar<br \/><\/a><\/strong>This Old World wine tasting at Salute Wine Bar is designed to transport guests to the French countryside. Greg LeBlanc from La Cigale Wines will share his knowledge and passion for five wines, which will be paired with summer-inspired bites. Tickets are $30 for the guided tasting and pairings. The three-course prix-fixe menu is $59 and includes choice of watermelon and cucumber salad or black bean corn relish salad, Creole redfish, artichoke-crusted salmon, or lemon-caper flounder, and peach cobbler or Belgian chocolate mousse for dessert. Available through August 19.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dfwrestaurantweek.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>DFW Restaurant Week Preview Weekend<br \/><\/strong><\/a>Get a head start on the 30th annual DFW Restaurant Week, August 6-9, at participating restaurants who\u2019ll start their specials early. Patrons can choose three-course dinners for $49 or $59, and $29 two-course lunches at upscale spots like Quince and Del Frisco\u2019s Double Eagle Steakhouse while supporting Lena Pope. The official DFW Restaurant Week start day is August 10, when more than 40 Tarrant County restaurants \u2013 including Chumley House, Dos Mares, and the new Seared Steak &amp; Cocktails \u2013 will donate approximately 20 percent of sales from their special menus to the charity. Stroll the expansive premises to sample 10 margaritas from area bars and restaurants while grooving to live DJ music and perusing street food vendors. Sampling tickets start at $37 and include a raffle entry for a trip to Mexico. General admission entry is 3 pm with VIP early entry at 12 pm. The festival will run until 6 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, August 9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/mamacitas-mimosas-maracas-a-cumbia-brunch-el-chingon-fort-worth-tickets-1993357268249?aff=ebdssbcategorybrowse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mamacitas, Mimosas &amp; Maracas, a Cumbia Brunch at El Chingon<br \/><\/a><\/strong>The West 7th District spot will host a high-energy brunch featuring Latin beats, salsa lessons, and mimosas. Table reservations for up to four are $50 and include one brunch dish per person and a mimosa tower. (Individual tickets are $10 each and include one mimosa or paleta.) Dance lessons start at 2 pm, and 3 pm guests can try their hand at the maracas for \u201cThe G\u00fcira Challenge\u201d \u2013 a chance to keep the beat for the crowd.
