Law enforcement in Riverside County is seeking the public\u2019s help in finding a 16-year-old Hemet girl who went missing last month.<\/p>\n
Laiylah Mix was last seen on July 26, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. According to the teen\u2019s father, Adam Bubert, she disappeared after visiting the Deputy Brett M. Harris Park in Hemet.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was staying with her mother and all that was found, from what I know, was her phone,\u201d Bubert said. \u201cI know she doesn\u2019t drive and she could either only be on foot or could have been picked up by somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bubert, who said the past three nights have been sleepless amid his desperate search for his daughter, added that Mix did not have any romantic partners that he knows of. He\u2019s been in communication with several law enforcement agencies and some communication with the girl\u2019s mother amid their search.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s known to have some mental health issues and I\u2019m just worried that her safety is of giant concern,\u201d Bubert said.<\/p>\n
Mix is described as standing at 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds. She has brown eyes and dyed burgundy hair. She was last seen wearing a green T-shirt and black cargo jeans.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement said the girl may be a runaway. The girl\u2019s father said the last time the two spoke, she expressed interest in running away.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last time my daughter reached out to me, she was talking about running away again, and I said it wasn\u2019t a good idea,\u201d Bubert said. \u201cSo, I had to reach out to her mom out of respect to make sure that my daughter didn\u2019t make any bad moves. And that was the last time I talked to her.\u201d<\/p>\n
