{"id":980437,"date":"2026-08-04T16:42:52","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T16:42:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/980437\/"},"modified":"2026-08-04T16:42:52","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T16:42:52","slug":"hlb-wins-six-wealth-management-awards-amid-transformation-push","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/980437\/","title":{"rendered":"HLB wins six wealth management awards amid transformation push"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.com.my\/business\/marketwatch\/stocks\/?qcounter=HLBANK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hong Leong Bank Bhd<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/charts.thestar.com.my\/?s=HLBANK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"go-chart\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/chart.png\"\/><\/a> (HLB) has won six regional and international wealth management awards as it accelerates its wealth management transformation strategy.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the bank said HLB Private Bank was named Best Private Bank\/Wealth Manager in Malaysia and Singapore at the WealthBriefingAsia Awards, while HLB Priority won Best Bank\/Wealth Manager for Emerging Affluent Clients at the Global Mass Affluent Banking Awards.<\/p>\n<p>HLB Private Bank also received the Rising Star Private Bank Award for Malaysia and Best Private Bank for Wealth Creation &amp; Preservation at the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, HLB Priority was recognised for Best Value Proposition for Emerging Affluent Clients at the Global Mass Affluent Banking Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The bank said the awards follow the rollout of its three- to five-year transformation plan, which places wealth management as a key growth pillar with a focus on innovation and personalised services.<\/p>\n<p>Group managing director and chief executive officer Kevin Lam said strengthening the bank&#8217;s wealth management capabilities is central to its strategy of supporting clients throughout their wealth creation journey while diversifying non-interest income.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTraditionally, the banking industry has kept wealth services, business banking and personal wealth in completely separate silos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to change that by providing a continuous pathway that supports clients throughout their wealth building journey,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>HLB also highlighted its recent Private Markets Summit 2026, where it announced plans to launch the Global Private Equity Fund-of-Funds II and the Private Markets Evergreen Income Fund (Resilient Income Generation) to provide eligible clients with greater access to private market investment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The bank added that HLB Private Bank has partnered with Lombard Odier to enhance portfolio advisory and succession planning services, while equipping relationship managers with AI-powered tools to deliver more personalised client advice.
