{"id":980463,"date":"2026-08-04T17:04:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T17:04:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/980463\/"},"modified":"2026-08-04T17:04:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T17:04:18","slug":"jacksonville-kiwanis-donates-3k-to-fetal-surgery-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/980463\/","title":{"rendered":"Jacksonville Kiwanis donates $3K to fetal surgery innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville has donated $3,000 toward the development of a fetal surgery training model meant to treat spina bifida,\u00a0one of the most common birth defects affecting the spine and spinal cord.<\/p>\n<p>The $100,000 project will help train future fetal surgeons in a minimally invasive technique that can repair\u00a0spina bifida, a birth defect in which the spinal cord doesn&#8217;t properly close during formation, before birth.<\/p>\n<p>Drs.
