It\u2019s Feud: American Love Story<\/a>. Jack Schlossberg<\/a> is beefing with Ryan Murphy<\/a> over the latter\u2019s upcoming limited series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Schlossberg takes umbrage at his uncle\u2019s memory being \u201cin a grotesque way,\u201d ie: to make Ryan Murphy money. Schlossberg has been vocal about Love Story \u2014 from \u201cmaking a public spectacle\u201d of JFK Jr. and Carolyn\u2019s love to Schlossberg\u2019s opinion that Paul Kelly is too bloated to play his late uncle. Here\u2019s everything we know about the hate surrounding Love Story. <\/p>\n Originally titled American Love Story to fit into the greater American ____ Story line of Ryan Murphy products, Love Story will depict the romance between JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette and the tabloid furor surrounding it. It\u2019s not entirely clear whether the show will follow the couple all the way to their deaths in the Atlantic Ocean, but Ryan Murphy joints aren\u2019t exactly known for their subtlety.<\/p>\n Paul Kelly is playing John Kennedy Jr., while Sarah Pidgeon will play Carolyn Bessette. Naomi Watts is returning to the Murphyverse as Jackie Kennedy Onasis, and Grace Gummer will play Schlossberg\u2019s mother Carolyn Kennedy.<\/p>\n Schlossberg began his anti-Love Story campaign in June. \u201cLately, my news feed has been filled with pictures of my uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., a great man,\u201d Schlossberg said in Instagram Stories, per EW<\/a>. \u201cFor those wondering whether his family was ever consulted, or has anything to do with the new show being made about him, the answer is no, and there\u2019s really not much we can do.\u201d Schlossberg acknowledged that, as a public figure, JFK Jr. doesn\u2019t have the same right to privacy as a more private figure. Still, he said he hopes \u201cthose making this show about him take seriously what he stood for in his life, all that he achieved in it, and that they donate some of the profits [from] what they\u2019re making to the John F. Kennedy Library.\u201d<\/p>\n Oh Gavin Newsom\u2019s podcast, Murphy metaphorically threw up his hands in confusion. \u201cI thought it was an odd choice to be mad about your relative that you really don\u2019t remember,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Jack Schlossberg agrees. \u201cSAY IT TO MY FACE!\u201d he wrote on Instagram. Schlossberg mentioned several of his first memories, which included the late JFK Jr. \u201cMy earliest memories are of John calling me Jackolatern and \u201cthe nudist,\u201d picking me up from school, his Pontiac convertible. I remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died,\u201d he wrote. \u201cYou\u2019re making millions off John, making a public spectacle of it but won\u2019t contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented.\u201d Then he threw in a final dig: \u201cAlso odd that the actor playing the sexiest man alive is bloated !\u201d<\/p>\n Well the internet got pretty mad at first look at Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette.
