Police have\u00a0identified a 42-year-old man with multiple prior arrests as the violent nut\u00a0who\u00a0stabbed\u00a011 people at a Walmart Superstore<\/a>\u00a0in Michigan on Saturday\u00a0afternoon.<\/p>\n

Bradford James Gille\u00a0is in custody and awaiting arraignment on one count of terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder following the shocking stabbing spree in Traverse City, cops said.<\/p>\n

Gille entered the big-box chain store around 4:43 p.m. and stabbed\u00a0his victims\u00a0using a folding knife, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Brandon Gille was identified as the suspect in the mass stabbing attack.<\/p>\n

Police released a photo of the knife used in the attack.<\/p>\n

Authorities are \u201cvery confident\u201d that Gille is the attacker,\u00a0said\u00a0Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea\u00a0to media.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0victims range in age from 29 to 85,\u00a0with\u00a0six of them over 60, Shea said.\u00a0They are all expected to survive.<\/p>\n

Gille is from Afton, Mich, and was last listed as living in Cheboygan, about\u00a080 miles northeast of Traverse City.<\/p>\n

All of the victims are expected to survive, according to Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea.<\/p>\n

He has multiple past arrests for criminal mischief and drug offenses and previously served 49 days in jail in Florida in 2014 for vandalism.<\/p>\n

Two possible self-published books by Gille and available on Amazon reveal him as a born-again Christian.<\/p>\n

The author\u00a0turned to prayer at age 14 in 1997\u00a0after\u00a0the \u201cunfortunate loss of one of my close friends,\u201d the blurb on one of\u00a0the\u00a0books reads.<\/p>\n

The book, which purports to be autobiographical, lays out how\u00a0its author\u00a0had dreams tracing his past lives back millions of years.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of those New Testament dreams of mine portrayed me as Jesus Christ or God and him as Judas Iscariot,\u201d\u00a0the writer says.<\/p>\n

In another book published in January last year,\u00a0the author\u00a0describes an apparent autobiographical account of his \u201castonishing revelation of his own identity as Jesus Christ and the spirit as Judas Iscariot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within\u00a03\u00a0minutes of\u00a0Saturday\u2019s\u00a0attack, a sheriff\u2019s deputy arrived and took Gille into custody.<\/p>\n

Shea praised bystanders, including\u00a0a\u00a0man armed with a pistol, who helped to\u00a0subdue\u00a0Gille until authorities arrived.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not very often that we have citizens that are willing to step up and take action,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Gille remains in the Grand Traverse County Jail.<\/p>\n
