{"id":98361,"date":"2025-07-28T03:28:07","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T03:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/98361\/"},"modified":"2025-07-28T03:28:07","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T03:28:07","slug":"barcelona-open-to-selling-to-youth-prodigy-but-with-strings-attached","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/98361\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona open to selling to youth prodigy but with strings attached"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Real Mallorca have <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/la-liga-outfit-plot-move-for-barcelona-academy-gem-after-asia-tour-snub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">recently shown serious interest in Barcelona starlet Jan Virgili<\/a>, the explosive 19-year-old winger who was notably left out of the club\u2019s Asia tour squad this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Mallorca are now exploring the possibility of signing Virgili, who had completed the initial stages of pre-season with Bar\u00e7a\u2019s first team. <\/p>\n<p>The Spanish U-19 international was among the most exciting young players in the youth setup last season and had even featured for Bar\u00e7a Atl\u00e8tic during the final phase of the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona open to selling Virgili<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundodeportivo.com\/futbol\/fc-barcelona\/20250727\/1002506793\/mallorca-aprieta-jan-virgili.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, Barcelona are open to letting Virgili leave this summer despite his recent contract renewal that ties him to the club until 2027. <\/p>\n<p>However, the club are not interested in a straightforward sale.
