The show is for Sky New Zealand\u2019s free TV net Three and its streaming counterpart ThreeNow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Settling is billed as a contemporary relationship series that is both comedy and drama. It follows two disillusioned 30-somethings, played by Hannah Marshall and Pax Assadi. They carry out a pact they made as teenagers \u2013 a platonic marriage \u2013 in order to satisfy family and society\u2019s expectations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The series was written by Marshall and Assadi. It is produced by South Pacific Pictures, which was part of All3Media and, following its merger with <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/banijay\/\" id=\"auto-tag_banijay\" data-tag=\"banijay\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Banijay<\/a>, is now part of the Banijay business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/all3media-international\/\" id=\"auto-tag_all3media-international\" data-tag=\"all3media-international\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">All3Media International<\/a> has the international rights to the series and will bring it to the international market. The branding of the All3Media and Banijay distribution businesses post-merger has yet to be resolved.
