\u201cIt\u2019s a way of bringing art into everyday spaces while creating new opportunities for artists to share their work with people who may not typically visit a gallery,\u201d Drummond said.<\/p>\n
Every month you can see something different at the gallery from artists of diverse backgrounds and perspectives \u2014 photography, painting, fiber art, sculpture, or multidiscpilinary group shows.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThat flexibility keeps the gallery fresh and gives people a reason to keep coming back,\u201d he said. \u201cIf the work is thoughtful, authentic and contributes to the conversation, there\u2019s a place for it here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Many shows are one-night-only, creating more of an experience and conversation. Drummond has creatively curated these and incorporated more than art\u00a0\u2014 music, poetry, sound baths and beyond.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As the gallery approaches its first anniversary, Drummond plans to celebrate with a group exhibition featuring artists from its inaugural year.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I opened Drummond Studio Gallery, my goal was simple,” he said. “I wanted to create a place where people could experience art in a way that felt welcoming and approachable. Today, that vision has grown into something much bigger.\u201d<\/p>\n
