{"id":984862,"date":"2026-08-06T16:20:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T16:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/984862\/"},"modified":"2026-08-06T16:20:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T16:20:18","slug":"delco-man-admits-to-sending-threatening-letters-to-philadelphia-broadcaster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/984862\/","title":{"rendered":"Delco man admits to sending threatening letters to Philadelphia broadcaster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 A Delaware County man has admitted to stalking and sending threatening letters to a local TV news personality.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Cilurso, of Aldan, admitted to stalking and witness tampering as part of a plea deal with federal prosecutors.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents show the 73-year-old mailed several notes to the TV station, where the broadcaster works. The letters had the names of the personality\u2019s husband and kids and contained a slew of homophobic slurs.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote threats like, \u201cWatch your back,\u201d and, \u201cI hope what happened to Charlie Kirk happens to you,\u201d according to court documents. Prosecutors say Cilurso also wrote that he was breeding snakes to release on the man\u2019s property.<\/p>\n<p>The plea memo says Cilurso admitted to targeting the man because of his sexual orientation.<\/p>\n<p>The broadcaster\u2019s name was redacted in court documents.<\/p>\n<p>Cilurso has been in trouble for similar offenses in the past. He was sentenced to probation for harassing Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, and he was charged this year with stalking and harassing New Jersey Gov.
