{"id":986339,"date":"2026-08-07T08:05:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T08:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/986339\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T08:05:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T08:05:18","slug":"grown-ups-3-begins-production-adam-sandler-shares-set-photo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/986339\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Grown Ups 3&#8217; Begins Production, Adam Sandler Shares Set Photo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/adam-sandler\/\" id=\"auto-tag_adam-sandler\" data-tag=\"adam-sandler\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Adam Sandler<\/a> has reunited with some old friends as production begins on <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/grown-ups\/\" id=\"auto-tag_grown-ups\" data-tag=\"grown-ups\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Grown Ups<\/a> 3, more than a decade later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Thursday, the 3x Golden Globe nominee shared the first set photo with his co-stars from the comedy franchise, after <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/netflix\/\" id=\"auto-tag_netflix\" data-tag=\"netflix\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Netflix<\/a> announced in May that the upcoming <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/05\/grown-ups-3-netflix-upfront-adam-sandler-1236899841\/\">third installment is in the works<\/a> at the streamer, directed by Kyle Newacheck from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe missed you!\u201d wrote Sandler with a set <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DbtaJQQgbsL\/?img_index=1\">photo<\/a> of himself at a restaurant table with co-stars Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, Bailee Madison, Deon Cole and Sandler\u2019s wife Jackie Sandler.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starring Sandler and frequent collaborators out of his Happy Madison universe, the Grown Ups franchise revolves around a set of childhood friends who are brought back together as adults over the course of a summer vacation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Directed by Dennis Dugan, both prior Grown Ups films were released theatrically by Sony\u2019s Columbia Pictures. The first, released in the summer of 2010, did around $272M worldwide, with 2013\u2019s Grown Ups 2 grossing around $247M.
