There are 12 murals located in parks in all five boroughs.<\/p>\n<p>Some murals are completed; others are still being painted. The initiative launched last month with several city agencies and the nonprofit Groundswell.<\/p>\n<p>The group brings together youth, artists and community organizations to use art as a tool for social change.
